Essential Question
Where do you start the shift?
Some take aways from the discussion>
Some key ideas needed for systematic change:
- Have to have leadership and ownership of the shift
- Work everywhere to get teachers, students, parents and administrators involved
- Use the curriculum review process to change the way instruction and assessment are done
- Many of our schools need to review their mission/vision statements. Their learning outcomes have different meanings today. “Multiculturalism” is just one example.
David and Jeff wrote blog posts around this EQ.
